"These days the public is blasted with media coverage of two major problems; the war against terrorism and the so called climate crisis. Yet, the climate crisis has more similarities to terrorism than it does to scientific method.
Primarily, the creation of fear of impending doom is being directed installing a sense of urgency. By setting forth a scenario of dire and immediate need for unprecedented change, the radical objectives of militant environmentalists and the political goals of anti-capitalists can be made to seem more acceptable and can be convinced of its necessity. Such institutionalization of fear has always been known as terrorism whether it is by a bomb or by working up the masses with lies. Recall, the efficiency of propaganda is directly linked to its suppression of opposing views."
