The anti war Hillary (as opposed to pro war Hillary) showed up to speak at General Petraeus (none of them speak to him) and she said that it would take “a willing suspension of disbelief” to accept the General’s assessment of the situation in Iraq. The General has been on the ground in Iraq for a bit longer than a photo op or two with the troops and he is a leader, unlike Hillary who people follow out of morbid curiosity. It is interesting that Rodham would question the veracity of the statements made by a hero while ignoring those things that really take “a willing suspension of disbelief” such as:
