Sen. Harry Reid and the Democrats: Speechwriters for Osama Bin Laden By Richard Bentley

Addressing his message to "the American people," Osama bin Laden needed to get some help with his latest diatribe, so he turned to Senator Harry Reid and many other Democrats to craft his message. As bin Laden mentioned that "the United States is losing in Iraq," you could see Senator Reid swell with pride. Those were the exact words that the senator from Nevada had uttered earlier this year.

        Osama bin Laden used Senator Charles Schumer's very words when he discussed "the failure of U.S. forces in Iraq."  Sharing the same talking points, Senator Schumer elaborated by saying that "any successes in Iraq that have occurred recently have been despite the efforts of the American troops, not because of them."
