Baltimore paper looks forward to the wiping out of red-state America by global warming by Lawrence Auster

Is this a joke, or is it for real? The Baltimore Chronicle and Sentinel has an article by Dave Lindorff saying it's good news that much of the country will be inundated by rising sea levels resulting from global warming, because conservatives live in the areas that will be most affected. Lindorff writes:

Say what you will about the looming catastrophe facing the world as the pace of global heating and polar melting accelerates. There is a silver lining.

Look at a map of the US.

The future political map of America is likely to look a lot different, with much of the so-called "red" state region either gone or depopulated.
