The City of Miami, Florida, is under fire for employing a group related to the Nation of Islam.
Fox News reports that the City of Miami has hired Muslims with ties to the Nation of Islam to patrol the streets of the predominantly black neighborhood of Overtown and teach tolerance. The city reportedly plans to give $150,000 to a civilian patrol group known as the Peacemakers, to be run by the Progressive Land Development International, an organization that operates out of the Miami headquarters of the Nation of Islam.
