The Dumbing Down of Education By Daniel Muniz
The dirty secret about public education is that a big part of our society actually wants the dumbing down of our children. They really don’t care about how cheesy a curriculum is as long as a lot of kids can pass it. And then everyone is happy except that our children didn’t learn very much.
For years a lot of school districts have gone out of their way to make education as ridiculously easy as possible.
