In less than six years since 9/11 a small non-governmental association of militant Islamists called Al Qaeda, with the help of Iran and America's ''White Flag Democrats'' led by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, with a supporting cast that includes all the ''White Flag Democrat'' candidates for the presidency--Clinton, Obama, Edwards, Gore--have brought America almost to its knees.

Last Thursday, the Democrat majority in the Senate passed a spending bill requring the president to begin withdrawing troops from Iraq in four months, with a 'nonbinding goal' of ending combat operations in one year, by March 2008. A week before, the Democrat majority in the House passed the ''U.S. Troop Readiness, Veteran's Health, Iraq Accountability and Aid and Comfort for Al Qaeda Act'' that sets a deadline for withdrawing troops from Iraq: September 2008.
A deadline for retreat. A deadline for defeat. A deadline for surrender."
