As I’ve always argued: just because you’re paranoid, it doesn’t mean they’re not out to get you.When I went to address a ladies’ charity lunch at a synagogue in Finchley, I was astonished at the level of security. You don’t expect to see bouncers in black bomber jackets on the door at a place of worship.
