John McCain and Christian Conservatives By Bruce Kelly
Now that John McCain has locked up the Republican presidential nomination he will need a solid, traditional, Christian Conservative running mate. Although I’m not a religious man I do, whole heartedly, support the Christian Conservatives. I believe they’re an important part of America’s heritage and I support their issues, all of them. I believe their values and influence strengthen our country and our military.
Traditional and social conservatives don’t like John McCain. And I don’t like him either. I think he’s arrogant, self righteous, under-handed and volatile. If McCain wins the Presidency he’ll be the worst Republican president since Richard Nixon. Nixon wasn’t a traditional conservative either, remember wage and price freezes to control inflation. Wage and Price Controls! Raise the hammer and sickle boys!
