The Gospel According to Rick Warren

Big Sodomy threw a hissy fit when Obama tapped Warren for the inaugural festivities.  Warren supported Proposition 8, passed by voters of the state of California to undo judicial mischief and reaffirm the bleeding’ obvious: that marriage consists of a man and a woman, period.  But as author of a perpetual best-seller, "The Purpose-Driver Life," and pastor of a high-profile megachurch, Warren’s support for real marriage was seen as pivotal, and Obama’s outreach to him as a betrayal.
