A snowball's chance in Hellary? By Vox Day

Historians write that in several historical occasions, most notably 1904 and 1924, the American presidential election took place between two candidates operating within the sphere of influence of a single man. The 1924 election, for example, was contested by one of J.P. Morgan's chief lawyers and the "classmate and handpicked choice of his partner, Dwight Morrow."

There is no shortage of obvious signs that today's Americans may not enjoy entirely free elections at the presidential level either. Consider the following clues:

  • As many as 11 of the questions in the last two presidential debates, supposedly asked by average citizens, were planted by Democratic operatives. CNN claims to have no knowledge of this, but given the nature of the questions and the ease with which the plants were discovered, the most logical conclusion is that CNN was careful not to look too closely at either the questions or those asking them.
