Obama's lead in the polls narrows as McCain's experience comes to the forefront in voters' minds By Bob Turner

Obama's lead in the national polls over Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain narrows to just 1 percent as American voters lean towards the GOP candidate's experience.

CNN's latest poll puts Obama in front of McCain 45 to 44%.  Wednesday, Obama lead McCain by 3% and in July, the margin of voters polled favored Obama by 8%.
