NYT Reversal: Palin Wasn’t Member of Alaska Independent Party, Was Properly Vetted :: BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT

The New York Times implied on Monday in an article, Palin Disclosures Raise Questions on Vetting  that Republican VP nominee Sarah Palin was not properly vetted, implying that the McCain campaign haphazardly investigated her background. The article also rattled off a litany of so-called potential scandals in Palin’s background.

One such scandal was the involvement of Palin in the Alaska Independence Party, a party that voted on whether or not Alaska to secede from the United States (secede to what, Canada? Russia?)
